About Us
Our story and our purpose
Established in 1998, PM SHRI Govt. UPG High School has grown into a trusted centre of learning for the children of Narkopi and its surrounding villages. For over two decades we have provided quality, affordable education to thousands of students, guiding them towards brighter futures.
Our dedicated teachers, supportive community and growing infrastructure make our school a place where every learner is encouraged to dream big and work hard.

Officially SelectedPM SHRI (Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India) is a Government of India scheme to upgrade and develop more than 14,500 schools as exemplary institutions that showcase the spirit of the National Education Policy 2020. PM Schools for Rising IndiaAbout PM SHRI / पीएम श्री
PM SHRI School is a centrally sponsored scheme by the Government of India. This initiative is intended to develop more than 14,500 PM SHRI Schools managed by Central Government / State / UT Government / local bodies including KVS and NVS in which every student feels welcomed and cared for, where a safe and stimulating learning environment exists, where a wide range of learning experiences are offered, and where good physical infrastructure and appropriate resources conducive to learning are available to all students.
पीएम श्री स्कूल भारत सरकार की एक केंद्र प्रायोजित योजना है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य केंद्र सरकार / राज्य / केंद्र शासित प्रदेश सरकार / स्थानीय निकायों (केवीएस और एनवीएस सहित) द्वारा प्रबंधित 14,500 से अधिक पीएम श्री स्कूल विकसित करना है, जिसमें प्रत्येक छात्र का स्वागत और देखभाल हो, जहाँ सुरक्षित और प्रेरक शिक्षण वातावरण हो।

Half-Yearly Examination Done
The half-yearly examinations for classes IX and X will commence from 25 June 2026. Students may collect their admit cards from the school office.

The school will remain closed for summer vacation from 1 July to 15 July 2026. Classes will resume on 16 July 2026.

Students of all classes are invited to participate in the Annual Science Exhibition to be held on 20 June 2026 in the school auditorium.

Class X Pre-Board Results
Pre-Board examination results for Class X have been declared. Parents are requested to attend the result discussion meeting on 5 June 2026.

Public Holiday — Local Festival
The school will remain closed on 23 May 2026 on account of a local festival. Normal classes will resume the following working day.
